Richard Baumann graduated from PACE University in 1969 and completed his art teaching license at the State University at New Paltz in 1974. There he completed graduate work in Studio Art and Art Education. His studies continued at the Arts Student League from 1980 to 1983.
His bibliography and articles have been published in American Artist Magazine 1988, 1991 and 1995, New York Magazine, the New York Post, US Artists Magazine, PACE University Alumni Magazine, Home Planet News, and Artspeak.
His work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions and his paintings have been selected for many public and private collections. Locally, Mr. Baumann is a member of the North Shore Arts Association.
