Photography has always been a love. Close-up work with flower photography has been a revelation. Intimacy with flowers led to further exploration including movement into Medium formal work. Spending time in Cape Ann has been inspirational.
Dr. Monteferrante's award winning photographs are shot in Medium format, giving the work sharp detail and translucent color not available from 35mm cameras.
