DON STONE, N. A.

From a summer studio on Monhegan Island, Maine, to a summer gallery in Rockport, Massachusetts and a winter studio in Exeter, New Hampshire, Donald Stone paints landscapes and water scenes in a highly Impressionist style.

He was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and has taught in Boston at the Vesper George School of Art and the New England School of Art. Stone has also conducted painting summer sessions on Monhegan Island.

Don Stone is a member of the Rockport Art Association, The North Shore Arts Association and the National Academy of Design.
